Socio-Economic Development

As much as Muldersdrift is a tourist area that boosts more than 100 establishments, Muldersdrift is also home to poor people who mostly reside in the informal settlements with no access to food, jobs, and socio-economic amenities.  

Umnotho was founded by low-income families with the intention to development themselves. In that founding meeting, the families committed to fight their own poverty by promoting decent housing, growing their own food, developing skills, starting their small businesses, and creating jobs.
